Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave (R-Colorado) is scheduled to speak at this weekend’s “2004 Gun Rights Policy Conference,” scheduled Sept. 24-26 at the Marriot Crystal City hotel in Arlington, VA just across the river from Washington, DC. This is the 19th annual conference.

Musgrave has been profiled in Women & Guns magazine, and is on the National Advisory Council for the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Doug Painter, president of the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the National Rifle Association, will also be speaking Saturday. There will also be appearances by other gun rights leaders including Alan M. Gottlieb, executive vice president of the Second Amendment Foundation and chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms; SAF President Joseph Tartaro; CCRKBA Executive Director Joe Waldron and many others. Because of the proximity to Washington, D.C., this year’s conference should also attract several members of Congress.

GRPC 2004 is co-sponsored by the Second Amendment Foundation and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, and KeepAndBearArms.com, with support from the National Rifle Association, National Shooting Sports Foundation, Glock and many others.
